I am trying to restore some old pine interior doors. I stripped the many layers of paint with a heat gun and removed shellac with alcohol. What was left was the original mahogany stained wood in very good shape. Could I use your beeswax coating to polish it as is and claim victory? What kind of sheen does it impart? How long would it last?
Looking Glass Beeswax Polish is real nice on refinished interior pin doors. I would try it out in a small area since there was an existing coating. The sheen depends on how smooth is was sanded. Basically, it is a sort of buttery satin sheen, depending on the sanding.
Best wishes,
Tom
