Hi,
I am looking for a gloss exterior paint to roll on a vehicle.
Thanks!
Hi,
When formulating coatings for vehicles we generally use a pigmented base coat followed by multiple clear coats.
I’m sure you know that vehicles aren’t usually rolled but sprayed. Sounds like a fun project though.
If I were doing it, I would probably use Clear Skies Eggshell as the tinted base coat.
Then I would apply at least 2-3 coats of NanoTech. This is a semi gloss.

If you want to increase the sheen some, you could add a pint of Easy Safe to a gallon of NanoTech.
That should get you a nice gloss that will weather well. I haven’t actually ever done this so I’m not sure how it will go.
Sample pints are a good way to test this out in advance.
Best wishes,
Tom
