What Is A Good Sealer For A Concrete Floor?

Nano Tech
Hello,
Would the Bio Poly Natural be a good sealant for a concrete basement floor? We want to keep out lime and other basement irritants, mold etc. We do not have a water problem, but can smell the concrete throughout the home.  We would also like something with very little work and easy to apply. We are looking for a concrete wall sealer for the concrete walls in the basement. Any help is appreciated.
Hi,
Bio Poly Natural is a great way to go on concrete.
It’s easy to apply, never peels, doesn’t require immense concrete prep like most concrete coatings do and it’s easy to maintain.
The concrete should be washed ( I would use Earth Clean) and it does need to be raw concrete, no sealers, so the Bio Poly Natural can penetrate.
The method I usually take is:
1. Earth Clean
2. Bio Poly Natural (diluted 1 quart per gallon with Pure Citrus Solvent)
Stain can be added if desired. The deeper tones tend to stain concrete better than the light tones.
You can buff in more than one coat on concrete, if it is thirsty enough, but make sure not to leave a surface film. It must penetrate. Since you want to seal in odor, I would probably buff in whatever it wants so it seals as much as possible of the odor in.
A sample pint is a great way to start out and test things. If you want to send some pics I can take a look at the floor for you.
Best wishes,
Tom
