Hello,
I have two decks, two sets of stairs, and a front porch that get very dirty and are shaded because of the woods around them. What would you recommend?
Hi,
If the decks are in a shady area and get dirty you could go two ways:
1. Stain
2. Stain and Top Coat (The Clear 00 System)
Colors are shown online click here: Rainforest Sealer
The best way to begin prep is:
1. Lime Clean
2. Sand 35-50 grit.
Then I would coat with Rainforest Sealer or Mountain XT in any color desired.
The deeper tones will probably give you more lifespan in a shaded dirty area, just because they hide dirt better.
Personally, I like Almond on cedar decks. But all the colors are good.
Everything is sold online at the link above.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Tom
